Home Again After A Hurricane
When Hurricane Irma barreled through the state of Florida in September 2017, many homes in our area suffered from flooding – ranging from minor water damage from wind-driven rain to significant issues due to standing water. The team at SERVPRO of West Pasco worked around the clock, literally, to dry out properties and remove affected contents. But the work wasn’t done.
While a homeowner’s first concern may be to extract the water to minimize exposure to secondary damage, they also need to consider the reconstruction phase that follows. During the dry out process, sometimes damaged or wet floor and baseboard must be removed, and a home looks far less complete than seen in this photo. Our crack construction team enters the picture, putting finishing touches to make a house a home. With the addition of a little bit of trim work, this New Port Richey home is starting to feel “homier” than ever.
